Apple Capital Spring Duathlon

Apple Capital Spring Duathlon

Thank you all for an awesome day!  The weather was definitely a mixed bag, but I’d say we ended up with more good than bad.  Especially considering it’s April.  Our fastest time of the day was Sarah Barkley with a blazing fast 1:25:01.  Results are up thanks to BuDu’s most excellent scoring.

Update – 3-26  A few of us got out on a pre-ride of the bike course this weekend and decided we’re going to reverse the “lollipop” portion to run clockwise.  This will be a safety improvement over years past, eliminating the sharp, high speed downhill corner coming off of Fairview Canyon and onto Richared Dr.  This will also mix it up a bit.  Not to worry we will remind everyone on race day and have it WELL marked.  One additional note on the bike course:  it’s beautiful!  Take one second during the race to look up and appreciate it.
